GREATWAY ROOFING PRESENTATION

Today, Noah Kim, Ryan Klevens, Adam Kerner, and I did the final presentation for a 3 weeks GreatWay Roofing Project. It was such an amazing experience to learn the roofing system and business. Adam and I found the book Taking To Humans helpful as we went through the customer interviews. Adam and I interviewed more than 35 people about their roofing. We learned how to ask constructive questions, how to develop the conversation, and how to gain as much information as we can. We felt the statistics were under-covered with a few statistical bias of income difference, home ownership, and response inaccuracy. We learned that the more we interview, the better and more diverse answer we can get. In addition to the interview, I worked on the data analysis, the feedback capture grid, and the 2 X 2 Matrix. The Feedback Capture Grid was really helpful in a way that clear customers’ opinions were applied. Ryan and Noah also did a fantastic job in their value propositions, recording, making documents, and solving problems. Although there were some problems and small disagreement to certain decisions, we eventually built great teamwork. I also learned a lot from making presentation slides. Making presentations demanded a lot of time, caring about theme matches, font consistence, editing small errors, and professionalism. Overall, I felt really happy and proud of the final presentation. I look forward to getting more exciting and challenging group projects in the future. It was a great pleasure to work with GreatWay Roofing President Menzel.
